Sosnove – In the Rivne region, an unknown person damaged a memorial sign in Sosnove, Rivne Oblast, erected in honor of the Jews who died at the hands of the Nazis during the Second World War.
The fact was confirmed on the spot. The police found out that an unknown person knocked down one of the two identical stele of the monument, which fell and split.
This was reported by the regional police, Ukrinform reports.
It is noted that information was received from the SBU regional office about a video shared in the messenger, which recorded how an unknown man damaged a memorial plaque erected to the Jews – residents of Sosnovy-Ludvypol, who died at the hands of the Nazis.
