Ivano-Frankivsk – Paintings by Ukrainian artist Roman Bonchuk were presented as part of the Precursor exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art in Ivano-Frankivsk.

The first is “Jew with a Pig” («Еврей со свиньёй»). The second showed a monster wearing a black hat, and the Torah Scroll was presented in place of meat in a shawarma machine.

As it became known to the UJCU (United Jewish Community of Ukraine), the display of these paintings was not agreed with the city authorities. They expressed regret about the incident, apologized and said that the exhibition was closed.
