Borough Park, Brooklyn, New York – Two ultra-Orthodox men were talking to each other on the street at 00:30 when suddenly a man approached them and began cursing and hurling insults at the Jewish people. He told them that he “wanted to kill all the Jews”, shoved one of the Haredi men and proceeded to leave the scene.
After a few minutes, he noticed that the ultra-Orthodox men were following him, one of whom had alerted the Jewish patrol group “Shomrim” and also called the police. The man turned around and hit one of the Haredim, causing light wounds. The orthodox Jew was evacuated to a local hospital. In the meantime, volunteers from the Jewish patrol group arrived on the scene and were able to hold the man down until the arrival of the cops.
