Germany – Menorah vandalized in Berlin

Berlin-Schmargendorf – A few hours after the start of the Festival of Lights, a Hanukkah candlestick was knocked over in Berlin-Schmargendorf on Thursday evening. As the police announced on Friday, a witness alerted the police at around 7:20 p.m.

She had previously observed a man who had knocked over a Hanukkah candlestick that had been set up at the Wilder Boar square and then fled.

The emergency services put the slightly bent candlestick back up and secured traces. The Police State Security is investigating damage to property that is harmful to the public.
