Seattle, WA – Seattle Fire Department (SFD) officials are investigating after another suspicious letter was sent to a synagogue and found not hazardous Saturday evening.

At 7:11 p.m., the SFD posted on X that they were sending a HAZMAT response to the 300 block of 18th Ave E, which is where the Chabad Capitol Hill and the Central District is located, for a report of a suspicious package. According to Seattle fire, no injuries were reported.

KOMO News spoke to the Rabbi there and he said the suspicious envelope they received looked similar to the ones other synagogues received so he called it in to authorities.

SFD said HazMat crews determined the contents of the package were not hazardous at 8:18 p.m.
