Two hotels in Montevideo refused to accommodate the English musician Roger Waters, a historic member of the band Pink Floyd, who is scheduled to give a concert on Friday at the Centenario Stadium in the Uruguayan capital, due to his criticism of Israel in its confrontation with the Palestinian movement Hamas. , the local press reported this Monday.

According to a report from the Azul FM station cited by the Uruguayan newspaper El País , the Hyatt Centric hotels and the Regency chain made the decision to apply the right of admission to Waters and rejected the reservations they had processed since the production of the concert.

“It is not even confirmed that he is going to sleep in Montevideo ,” Azul FM noted about Waters, of whom he added that “he has a speech that is openly inclined towards hate and openly anti-Semitic.”
