Asunción – Luis Fernando Amarilla Argüell, a 47-year-old man, was detained after a raid carried out this Wednesday in a home in the Vista Alegre neighborhood of Asunción.
Luis Fernando Amarilla Argüell would have issued a threat of shooting at a local synagogue, with the aim of injuring members of the Jewish community who come to the place.
Prosecutor Ruth Benítez led the raid together with agents from the Cybercrime Department of the Paraguayan Police and pointed out that the detainee had written “to hell with that, I’m going to shoot up my local synagogue”, in a forum with hate messages 4Chan, against the Jewish community.
