Bosnia and Herzegovina – Rival fans waved an antisemitic sign against the owner

Zenica – Bosnia’s Zrinjski beat NK Celik Zenica 6-0 in the local Cup, but the result took a backseat.

The owner of the winning club belongs to the Jewish community and the rival fans displayed antisemitic signs and Palestinian flags during the match.

“Who cares your championships and first places, when you are Jew’s bitch!” said one of the flags that the fans had.

Amir Kabiri, owner of the institution, said: “I am not surprised by the antisemitic gesture and reception.”

“In large areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina they are going through a very disturbing process of radicalism against the Jews and the State of Israel,” Kabiri said.

“The Jews will never bow their heads, I will fight in every demonstration with the tools at my disposal,” said the businessman.
