Passaic, NJ – Antisemitic hackers hijacked a virtual city council meeting in New Jersey to yell vile racist epithets and blame Israel for 9/11, including one man saying, “Fuck Jews.”

The unidentified hackers, all of whom adopted offensive pseudonyms, took over the Oct. 24 Zoom meeting in Passaic shortly after it began and immediately started spewing obscenities, according to a recording obtained by The Post.

One of the men yelled that “Israel did 9/11,” while another said, “You’re a bald n—er” to no one in particular.

A third man said, “Fuck Jews,” then added, “All right, so when are we going to put these Jews in the [unintelligible].”

Later on, the feed cut out once again and was replaced with a racist meme that showed the Federal Reserve Board and the caption, “Jewish Privilege: Running all the banks and fleecing us with their usury.”

The hackers were soon chucked from the public meeting, according to the Record newspaper, which first reported the incident.

But the damage had been done.

The city’s police department is investigating the incident, which local officials believe was spurred by the war between Israel and Hamas sparked by the terror group’s slaughter of around 1,400 people on Oct. 7, the paper said.

Passaic, which is perched about a half-hour northwest of Manhattan, has a sizable Orthodox population that’s reflected on the council: Three of its seven members are Orthodox Jews, the Record said.

City Council President Gary Schaer — who is also a state assemblyman and the first Orthodox Jew to serve in the New Jersey Legislature — condemned the hackers’ vitriolic words as “abhorrent.”

On Wednesday, city Mayor Hector Lora told The Post that “any intolerant or hateful speech or divisive comments directed on any segment of our population is an assault on our entire community as a whole.”

Lora said he didn’t realize what was going on until he looked at the fake names, which tipped him off that the hackers were out to “elicit a response.”

The cops are still investigating, he added.
