Russia is attempting to recruit Ukrainian teenagers, aged 13 to 17, to carry out antisemitic provocations, the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) reported on Oct. 25.

The network of provocateurs was neutralized in Zhytomyr Oblast, as well as in the cities of Dnipro, Lviv, and Vinnytsia.

They were recruited remotely through a right-wing extremist Telegram channel with a Russian administrator, who psychologically manipulated Ukrainian teenagers to commit anti-Semitic acts in their local areas.

They were asked to write offensive graffiti on memorials, carry out bombings, and post photos and videos discrediting Ukraine.

A schoolboy from Radomyshl was recruited to write anti-Semitic messages on various properties in Zhytomyr Oblast, and four children in Dnipro, Lviv, and Vinnytsia were recruited to vandalize Holocaust memorials. The investigation remains ongoing, the SBU said.
