588 antisemitic incidents have been reported in France since October 7, the date on which Hamas carried out its terrorist actions in Israel , announced Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin on October 23.
In addition, 336 people suspected of these same anti-Semitic acts have been arrested since that same date.
For comparison, over the entire year 2022, 436 antisemitic acts were perpetrated in France , according to a count made public by the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions of France (Crif).
