The FBI warned in a statement of the commitment of terrorist groups to attack the United States. However, he clarified that there is no information about possible plans for attacks against US territory that may arise from Hamas’ recent incursion into Israel .

“While we continue to collect and analyze intelligence information from various sources, we currently do not have specific intelligence information that reflects the planning of additional attacks against the United States. However, foreign terrorist organizations and their supporters remain committed to attacking the United States inside and outside our borders,” says the text issued by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Along these lines, the authorities recalled that in recent years there have been several events and incidents in the United States allegedly motivated by the conflict between Israel and Hamas: “Among them, they have been directed against people, places of worship and institutions related to the Jewish and Muslim religions with acts of physical aggression, vandalism or harassment.”

“Antisemitism permeates many violent and extremist ideologies and serves as a vehicle for attacks by various extremist groups that are a persistent threat to Jewish communities and US institutions,”  the text adds.

Likewise, the FBI recalled that in the past  “foreign terrorist organizations have taken advantage of previous conflicts between Israel and Hamas through media and online communications to call on their followers located in the United States to commit attacks.”  “Some violent extremists have taken advantage of moments of heightened tension to incite violence against religious minorities, targeting Jewish and Muslim Americans,” he added.

On the other hand, the United States issued a travel alert this Wednesday in which it recommends its citizens not to travel under any circumstances to the Gaza Strip due to the new war and asks them to reconsider trips to Israel and the occupied West Bank  .

“Terrorist groups and other violent extremists continue to plan possible attacks in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza. Terrorists and violent extremists can attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist sites, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, and local government facilities. Violence can occur in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza without warning. “There has been a marked increase in demonstrations throughout Israel, some with little or no warning,” the State Department warned its citizens.

At least 22 US citizens were killed in Hamas’ bloody surprise attack on Israel, while the number of US nationals kidnapped by the Palestinian Islamist group is still uncertain.

The State Department urges Americans in the alert to avoid the Gaza Strip  due to “terrorism, civil unrest and armed conflict.”

The United States cannot provide consular services in Gaza since its personnel are prohibited from entering the strip, which is controlled by Hamas, a group classified by Washington as a terrorist organization, the note recalls.

“Rocket launches and corresponding Israeli military responses can occur at any time. During armed conflicts, Gaza crossings with Israel and Egypt may be closed,” he adds.

In addition,  he calls for reconsidering visits to Israel and the occupied West Bank due to “terrorism and civil unrest.”

The State Department warns that its diplomatic and consular personnel have limited their movements in those territories to emergency trips and that the situation could be further restricted if there are new “security threats.”

The surprise attack by Hamas, which began on Saturday a war that continues to see fierce exchanges of fire, has already left at least 1,200 dead in Israel and more than 2,900 injured.

The Hamas incursion, which launched hundreds of rockets from the Gaza Strip towards several Israeli cities, triggered a military response from Israel, which has bombed more than 270 targets in the coastal enclave controlled by the terrorist group.

In parallel, the Israeli Navy, Air Force and artillery corps attacked Hamas naval targets that, according to a military spokesman, “were used to carry out terrorist attacks on Israeli assets.”

Israel also reported that more than 100 people have been kidnapped by Hamas and taken to Gaza as hostages.

The army also said it had found the bodies of 1,500 Hamas fighters.

The terrorist attack enters its fifth day this Wednesday, in which a single rocket launch has been recorded from Gaza towards Israel. This Tuesday, there was the first attack from Syria towards Israeli territory since the beginning of the conflict, and it adds to a series of exchanges of fire on the border between Israel and Lebanon since Sunday.

Israel announced on Tuesday that it had retaken areas around the Gaza Strip and continued bombing the enclave, against which it declared a total siege.

“ We are already in the middle of the campaign, but this is only the beginning, we will win with force, with a lot of force ,” warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Security forces “have more or less regained control of the border” with Gaza but “infiltration may continue,” declared military spokesman Richard Hecht.
