UK – Man asked if he was Jewish then punched in the face in antisemitic attack in Wembley

London – A man was asked if he was Jewish before being punched in the face in an antisemitic attack in north-west London.

Scotland Yard on Wednesday issued a photo of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the assault, which is being treated as a hate crime.

The man was in Kingsbury Road, Wembley, when he was approached by a group of men who “asked whether he was Jewish”, said the Met Police.

He moved away and tried to take a photo of the group, which reportedly prompted one of them to return and punch him in the face.
