Salzgitter – The police investigations so far have shown that during the time of the crime, an Israeli flag that was hoisted on a flagpole by the city of Salzgitter was dismantled and set on fire by the unknown perpetrator in the nearby entrance area of the city library.
The city of Salzgitter raised the flag as a sign of solidarity with the victims in the State of Israel.
The police crime scene team and forensic experts carried out a search for clues at the crime scene.
