France – Blank shooting in Vaulx: the trail of an antisemitic act studied

Vaulx-en-Velin – A company in Vaulx-en-Velin, located in an industrial zone, was the victim of a possibly antisemitic attack on Thursday evening.

According to our information, as the company manager and an employee were leaving the premises around 9 p.m., they were shot at, fortunately fired into the air. These shots came from a car, in which several individuals were present. The latter fled.

The victims immediately alerted the police. On site, investigators allegedly found three shell casings from a handgun. These were blank cartridges. Were these shots intended to frighten the business manager and his Jewish employee? The investigation will have to determine this.
