Netherlands – A car with an antisemitic slogan engraved on the hood was set on fire

The Hague – Vandals set fire to a car on Melis Stokelaan in The Hague during the night of Thursday to Friday, September 29. The words “cancer Jew” (“kanker jood”) were scratched on the hood of the car.

Just before two o’clock, the emergency services were called to a vehicle fire on Melis Stokelaan near Dedemsvaartweg in The Hague. The fire brigade rushed to the scene.

The fire brigade was able to quickly extinguish the flames. Despite the rapid response of the fire brigade, the car was a total loss.

The police suspect arson. The owner of the car will report the incident at a later date. A jerry can and burnt cigarettes were found in the vehicle.

The car was towed by a recovery company.
