With the start of the election campaign, RIAS Bayern has already documented some antisemitic incidents related to the Bavarian state elections in October 2023.
In Würzburg on August 21, an election poster was discovered with a photo of Markus Söder on which, among other things, the words “Judenhurensohn” (Jewish son of a bitch) and “Anerkannter Deutscher Judenhurensohn” (A known German Jewish son of a bitch) were written.
On August 10, a passer-by at a campaign stand in Munich claimed that Jews ruled the world.v
