YouTube has removed video of a comedic podcast featuring Roseanne Barr, who faced backlash for a seemingly sardonic joke about the Holocaust made during a bit about free speech and censorship on the internet.
Barr’s two-and-a-half-hour interview with comedian Theo Von on his podcast, “This Past Weekend,” was released on June 14. But it didn’t start making headlines until earlier this week, when their discussion started to go viral.
By Friday, the video version of the podcast was stripped from YouTube. In its place is a message reading, “This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s policy on hate speech.”
