USA – Antisemitic flyers found in East Stroudsburg, PA

East Stroudsburg, PA – Residents in a neighborhood in East Stroudsburg say they’re horrified and disgusted after receiving antisemitic flyers dropped off to their homes.

On Thursday some of the residents on East Broad Street in East Stroudsburg received the obscene flyers in plastic bags on their driveways and sidewalks.

Adam Anik, a Jewish resident on East Broad Street was one of the neighbors who received the anti-Semitic letter. He tells me that the letters struck a nerve and are disheartening.

“It has hit some nerves because I am Jewish, even though only one had those targeting Jews, I mean were .2% of the population and were such a danger and threat to people?”

The letters included not only anti-Semitic comments but also comments targeted at Jewish members of the Biden Administration.

The flyers were put in sandwich bags with popcorn kernels. One of the fliers also says “You’re going to launch an investigation into this flier?” and includes a link to a Jewish supremacist website.

Paolo Castaneda , another resident in the neighborhood, also received a letter and says that despite not being Jewish it disturbed him and his family and immediately threw the letter out.

“I didn’t know what to make of it, I didn’t open it, I read it through the bag and saw that it was antisemitism and threw it out, it was pretty disgusting”, Castaneda said.

After multiple neighbors received the obscene letters Adam Anik collected all the letters and contacted State Representative Tara Propst’s office.

Proper then gave the letters to the Stroud Area Regional Police.

The culprit has not been identified at this time.

We have reached out to the Stroud area regional police but have not heard back yet. If you or anyone has any information about the person delivering these letters, please reach out to the Stroud Area Regional Police.
