An investigation for “apology for terrorism” was opened on Sunday January 8 after the publication on social networks of a photo of a Toulouse football club jersey bearing the name of Mohamed Merah, we informed the prosecution.
The “apology of terrorism by means of communication to the public online is an offense punishable by seven years of imprisonment”, specified the prosecution to AFP, without providing more details on this investigation “which begins”.
Before the announcement of the opening of this investigation, the TéFéCé had on Twitter described this flocking as “abject and shameful”, specifying that it “revolts against this content, reported it as soon as we became aware of it, and confirmed that the shirt has not been handled by the staff of the official club stores.”.
This Monday, January 9 in the morning, the TFC will file a complaint.
