Lviv – The Lviv’s Lyceum for International Relations school, named after V. Stus, which operates under the auspices of the municipality, held the traditional Christmas show (Вертеп – Nativity scene) in which, among other things, the character of a “Zhyd” (Jew) also appeared.
This character and its special negative qualities have received criticism and accusations of anti-Semitism in recent years. Still, public, and official bodies in Ukraine insist on continuing to present it in Christmas shows.
