The Anne Frank educational institution has launched an awareness campaign on TikTok under the hashtag #TogetheragainstAntisemitism. The aim is to sensitize young people to the topic of antisemitism and to create a counterweight to right-wing hate speech.
Anyone who goes to the short video platform TikTok will see not only all kinds of funny dance and music interludes, but also more and more videos with learning content. The Anne Frank educational institution is taking advantage of this growing potential as a learning platform and is working with six TikTok creators who inform users about anti-Semitism.
Under the hashtag #TogetheragainstAntisemitism, the Anne Frank educational institution wants to work with the creators to explain what antisemitism is or what users can do if they see antisemitic content on the platform. Some of the explanatory videos will be published on the
TikTok channel of the Anne Frank educational institution published, the other part on which the content creators with whom the institute collaborates.
