Germany – Federal Interior Minister announces national strategy against antisemitism

On the occasion of the anniversary of the pogroms in 1938, the Bundestag debated the fight against antisemitism.

Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said in parliament that this first national strategy to combat hatred of Jews and to protect Jewish life in Germany will be a tool to combat antisemitism in a better and more targeted manner. In the fight against antisemitism, political education, prevention work and decisive action by the security authorities must go hand in hand.
