The Estudiantes de La Plata football club adopts the definition of antisemitism approved by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) on May 26, 2016, which is detailed below:

“Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews that can be expressed as hatred of Jews. The physical and rhetorical manifestations of antisemitism are directed at Jewish or non-Jewish persons and/or their property, at the institutions of Jewish communities and their places of worship.

This definition was adopted in the field of the National Public Sector through Resolution 114/2020 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship; as well as, it was adopted by the Argentine Football Association through Resolution No. 449/20. For its part, the Professional Football League invited the clubs to adopt the aforementioned definition.

In this way, the Estudiantes de La Plata Club makes its contribution to the fight against antisemitism in all its forms, promoting respect for plurality and seeking the sanction and elimination of behaviors and attitudes based on hostility and prejudice.
