Dieudonné has planned to give a show in Compiègne this Thursday, September 22 in the evening. A spectacle that the mayor of Compiègne, Philippe Marini does not want.

By press release, he announces: “I took a municipal decree to prohibit the two representations of Dieudonné, envisaged this evening, on the territory of Compiègne”.

A show planned “on the territory of Compiègne”. Dieudonné banned from the scene since his antisemitic excesses (and convictions) is used to revealing only at the last moment when he occurs. Fans who have booked a ticket are thus alerted by SMS of the precise location in the hour preceding the show.

In recent years, in the region, Dieudonné has used to play in a field in Arsy between Compiègne and Pont-Sainte-Maxence.

The mayor of Compiègne knows this well: “We have no certainty that this show will take place in Compiègne, so I have just informed my elected colleagues from the ARC so that they can take the necessary measures which seem necessary to them. It remains to be seen whether the mayors will take similar measures to those of the mayor of Compiègne. The show could take place within a radius “of less than 20 km around Compiègne”, warns the mayor.

Philippe Marini who concludes: “I can assure you that I strongly condemn the words conveyed by this character”. This is not the first time that Dieudonné has been banned from performing in Compiègne, this was particularly the case in 2019. In response, at the time, Dieudonné had insulted the elected official on his social networks.
