The Central Council of Jews in Germany published the outcome of the Bundestag antisemitism report for the first half of 2022 (the Bundestag didn’t publish it on its website yet). The conclusion: Less antisemitic crimes in the first half of 2022 than in the same period in 2021. In the first six months of 2022, a total of 965 antisemitic offenses were registered, in the first half of 2021 there were 1,749 antisemitic offenses.

In the first six months of 2022, a total of 965 antisemitic offenses were registered, in the first half of 2021 there were 1,749 antisemitic offenses.

These are only preliminary figures. The number of cases from the current year are likely to increase due to late reports. In 2021, the number of incidents for the first two quarters increased by 763 (from 986 to 1,749) after the publishing of the August report (the preliminary report from the second half of the year).

When comparing the numbers published in the reports published in August 2021 to those published in August 2022, we can see a decrease of only 21 incidents.
