Berlin – In Weißensee, one or more strangers have stolen a total of three stumbling blocks, according to the police after an incident on July 9th. Around 7 p.m. that day, a resident found a stumbling block in a cloth bag on the Woelckpromenade.

Investigations had shown that a total of three stones were dug out of the pavement in front of house number 7, of which only one has so far been found again. Apparently they are memorial stones for the Ilgner family, who lived in a house on the Woelckpromenade before 1936.
