Santiago – The Jewish Community in Chile denounced through Twitter the use of a caricature “that alludes to the classic stereotype of a Jew”, in a printed advertisement in a national newspaper.
The company responsible for this advertising is the distributor Árbol Verde de Valparaíso, who paid for the advertising space in Las Últimas Noticias.
The Israeli embassy adhered to the sentence through the social network, indicating that “not having intended to offend, does not explain or lessen the seriousness of the events.”
