Germany – A traffic incident ends with an antisemitic insult

Teutschenthal, Ortsteil Holleben – On May 5th, 2022, at around 2 p.m., there was a road traffic incident in the Holleben district. According to the current status of the investigation, the driver of a van with an aggressive driving style was noticed on Landesstraße 163 in the direction of Halle (Saale) by driving closely into a car ahead. After the car stopped, the van blocked the onward journey.

The three people from the van then asked two occupants of the car to get out. Since this request was not complied with, the three suspects tried unsuccessfully to open the car and finally hit the roof. After noticing that one of the inmates was wearing a kippa, he was insulted with anti-Semitic statements, among other things. The perpetrators finally fled in an unknown direction. The car does not appear to have been damaged.

The police state security has already started investigations into the perpetrators. In the meantime, the suspects between the ages of 34 and 44 have been identified. The investigations are ongoing.v
