Germany – Antisemitic graffiti in Landshut

Landshut – On January 8th, a passer-by discovered a large, white lettering on the street under the railway bridge behind the Landshut gymnastics community.

The slogan “Vaccination sets you free” (“Impfen macht frei”) refers back to the cynical inscription “Work sets you free” (“Impfen macht frei”) that was affixed to the gates of the Nazi concentration and extermination camps Theresienstadt, Auschwitz, Dachau, Sachsenhausen and Flossenbürg, thus playing down the Shoah.v
