The Ministry of Education has released the “Guidelines on combating antisemitism in schools” (Linee guida per il contrasto all’antisemitismo nella scuola).

The text was elaborated by the MI-PdCM-UCEI Joint Committee under the guidance of the National Coordinator for the fight against antisemitism in the framework of the Protocol between MI, Coordinator and UCEI (Union of Italian Jewish Communities).

The document, based on the work carried out in recent years by Italian schools to preserve and transmit the memory of the Shoah, aims to address prejudices and new forms of antisemitism among young people in a current key, opening a reflection with teachers, female students on the prevention and contrast of this phenomenon.
