Amberg – Following a protest against the corona measures, a letter and grave candles were laid in front of the stumbling blocks for the Haymann couple in downtown Amberg.
The text starts with the sentence “It always starts with exclusion” and talks about a division that threatens the basic law and democracy. The discarded red candles are supposed to be for the vaccinated, the white candles are for the unvaccinated people.
The stumbling blocks commemorate Fanny Haymann, who was deported to the concentration camp Theresienstadt in 1942, and Karl Haymann, who has been humbled and honored during the November pogrom.
By laying the letter in front of the stumbling blocks, the vaccinated are equated with the victims of the holocaust and thus ridiculed.
