France – Antisemitic attack against a 70-year-old man in Paris

Paris – An antisemitic attack that allegedly took place on December 1 at 11 am in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.

A 70-year-old man of Jewish faith was attacked in his home by two hooded and gloved people carrying a gun.
“The attackers first knocked hard on the door and tried to force in. After opening the door, the man was violently pushed into his apartment by the attackers, who beat him all over his body and put the gun on his temple,” the statement said.
In the apartment, one of the attackers asks him if he is a jeweler and a Jew. He replies that he is not a jeweler but that he is indeed a Jew, the BNVCA reported.

“If you move out of your seat, I’ll shoot you in the head,” the victim then heard, while being punched and punched with the pointed gun.
The attackers left with 250 euros and the man was transferred to hospital.
A complaint has been lodged with the 19th arrondissement police station in Paris and calls for the police to take into consideration the antisemitic nature of the attack.
