Kyiv – The Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ukraine, Melinda Simmons, expressed her indignation at the fact that an anti-Semitic painting was sold in Kyiv.
The ambassador stated this on her Twitter:
Seen at a market in Kyiv. It hangs among paintings of flowers, animals and pretty views. This picture is not benign. It’s not humorous. It is antisemitic. It portrays Jews as something they are not. It has no place in any form, anywhere, in any country including #Ukraine pic.twitter.com/i5vCthoo4d
