Rockaway Township, NJ – Mayor Michael Puzio was quick Thursday, Sept. 23, to condemn an antisemitic offensive placard which was displayed by members of the Lyndon LaRouche, Jr. organization at the Rockaway Borough Post Office.
This offensive, antisemitic sign that reads “Green energy:more efficient than Auschwitz” seems to compare green energy to the Holocaust.
It’s a free speech issue, so the organization remained at the post office that Thursday, but not return Friday, Sept. 24.
Police Chief Conrad Pepperman said that because the group was not soliciting nor selling anything, they did not require a town permit.
