Germany – Antisemitism in a restaurant in Berlin

Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin – Antisemitic insults were uttered against a restaurant manager in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin on Saturday night.

According to police, the 48-year-old suspect repeatedly harassed restaurant guests and the manager. When the manager asked him to stop, he made antisemitic remarks towards him.
The restaurant manager called police and the man fled. However, the suspect could be identified through witnesses and he was arrested. According to police, he claimed he did not want to harm the restaurant manager.
State security in the police took over the investigation.
