A Jewish student attacked in Albuquerque, New Mexico

This is a summary of a post published by Lior Saponar about the attack on his brother, Roni Saponar, for being a Jew.

Albuquerque, NM – My brother Roni was out with friends in Albuquerque, NM. He goes to The University of New Mexico, UNM and enjoys time out with his friends on an occasional basis.
This last weekend, while being out with a friends, a group of 4-6 people (some were of Arab descent) jumped and attack my brother on his way to the bathroom. The group of people overhead he’s from Israel and saw the shirt he was wearing at the time, and waited for the right time to attack my brother, while making comments about him being Jewish.
They beat him repeatedly for a few minutes and stole his watch and shoes. All my brother could do was protect his face and put his legs up. Roni ended up in the hospital with internal head bleeding and a bruised face and body.
