At least 287 antisemitic crimes were committed in Germany in the first quarter

In the first quarter of 2020, at least 287 anti-Jewish crimes were committed in Germany. This emerges from preliminary figures from the security authorities, which the Federal Government announced on Wednesday in a current response to a request from the left faction in the Bundestag.
Accordingly, seven antisemitic acts of violence in which five people were injured were recorded in the first three months of the year. According to the information, more than 90 percent of the offenses were politically motivated on the right. The authorities identified 127 suspects.
