Arkhangelsk – The building of the synagogue, also operating as the Jewish cultural center “Star of the North”, was set on fire in the early morning – at 03:46. Burned with tires and fuel. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergencies.
Eyewitnesses reported a fire to the fire department, after which they sent a squad from the nearest fire and rescue unit to the place.
The fire was stopped at the entrance of the cultural center – the glass there was damaged, the door, a vestibule on 4 square meters was smoked. They set it on fire with tires and fuel. An investigation is underway, – commented in the press service of the Ministry of Emergencies.
