Antisemitic incidents have multiplied in Lower Saxony

In Lower Saxony, the number of antisemitic crimes has skyrocketed in 2019. In the first half of the year alone, the Department of Justice registered 142 investigations nationwide. An inquiry by the AfD in the Landtag reveals that 113 suspects have been found.
For comparison: In 2018 as a whole there were 63 procedures, less than half in the shorter period.
The most frequent investigation was carried out in the first half of 2019 on suspicion of sedition (66 cases), followed by the use of anti-constitutional symbols (64). Insults are said to have occurred five times and property damage twice.
