Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu ordered billboards calling for boycott against Jews and Christians taken down in the city of Konya, in central Turkey.
The campaign, sparking intense backlash by the Jewish and Christian communities in the country, was possibly organized by a couple of radical Islamic organizations operating in the country.
The minister, after receiving various complaints, intervened personally on the matter and ordered the billboards to be taken down.
