Stockholm – “The Holocaust is a scam” (”Förintelsen är en bluff”) someone had scribbled several times at the Royal Tennis Hall during the night until Saturday, day two of the Davis Cup between Sweden and Israel.
The caretaker discovered it at 6.30 in the morning and we contacted both the cleaning company’s scrubber cleaner and our security company. The police arrived within about ten minutes. It was easy to flush, says Royal Tennis Hall’s general secretary Mats Låftman.
He describes the scribble as two black lines of text with the message that the Holocaust has not taken place, that it is a invention, “The Holocaust is fake”. The perpetrator had sprayed through a stencil in three places on the stairs to the main entrance and one on the sidewalk.
