Police in Tower Hamlets made an arrest in Dunbridge Street, Bethnal Green on Monday, after a man reportedly yelled “fucking Jew” at a Jewish passer-by, before brandishing a knife and chasing him down the street, shouting further antisemitic epithets.
Tower Hamlets Police confirmed that they had arrested a 34-year-old man “for a racially aggravated public order offence. A knife was recovered from the suspect who remains in custody.”
