Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Berlin – a bar owner was arrested yesterday in Charlottenburg after insulting and making Nazi salutes. According to witnesses at the scene, the 54-year-old man was caught at around 20:40, in a quarrel with two guests in the pub on Zilé Street. He shouted anti-Semitic and xenophobic insults at the two men, aged 56. Later on, he raised his right arm and made the forbidden Nazi salute and spat at one visitor. The police, who were summoned to the scene, arrested the man, who was under the influence of alcohol, and took him to police station in order to take a blood sample. Later, he was released. The police department responsible for the protection of the Constitution and the rule of law within the National Bureau of Crime, has taken over the investigation.
