Chemnitz – in the Kappelenberg district, street signs belonging to a street named after the former Rabbi of Chemnitz, Hugo Fuchs (1878-1949), were vandalized. According to the police, two of the signs were completely uprooted, while another was bent and twisted.

The street adjacent to the new synagogue bears the name of the former rabbi since 2001. Fuchs headed the Jewish religious community in Chemnitz from 1907 to 1939.
