“A Jew supports Lazio.” Antisemitic racism is once again sullying football in Rome

Rome – After the case of the photomontages with Anne Frank, the Jewish girl who was murdered by the Nazis during World War II, wearing the Roma team’s shirt, comes another case of antisemitic racism related to soccer in the capital.

On a signpost on Terme di Tito Street, at the corner with Monte Oppio Street, two stickers appeared:  an old picture of Benito Mussolini with, underneath, the symbol of the Roma football team and the other with the inscription in white “A Jews supports Lazio”.
