Legnago – unidentified people spray-painted an antisemitic graffiti directed at Councilor Claudio Marconi, a councilor responsible for public works, who has criticized those who painted swastikas throughout the city.
The vandals wrote in black paint at the entrance to an underground passage of Casette: “Marconi is a Jew”. The councilor responded: “All this proves how today, more than ever, the word Jew is considered by a tiny minority as an insult, while forgetting the terrible persecution that this people suffered more than 70 years ago”
