Mount Kisco synagogue defaced with swastikas

Mt Kisco, NY – Police are investigating antisemitic
graffiti that was spray painted onto a Mount Kisco nursery school that sits
adjacent to a popular playground.

Staff at the Bet Torah synagogue on Smith Avenue in Mount
Kisco reported to Westchester County Police on Sunday that they had found two
swastikas spray-painted on the wall of the nursery school.

Police said that the swastikas were approximately two-feet
by two-feet in diameter and were spray painted adjacent to the playground that
sits on the synagogue’s property. The area is accessible to the public both on
foot and by vehicle.

According to police, the crime appears to have taken place
late on Saturday night or overnight on Sunday morning. Detectives from the
General Investigations Unit canvassed the neighborhood for several days, but
have not found any witnesses or suspects.
