Middle-Age-style blood libel in Jordan

Amman – A Jordanian journalist of Palestinian origin
named Faiz Rashid recently published an article in an Amman newspaper in which
he repeats blood libels from the Middle Ages.

The article contained graphic descriptions of how Jews use
the blood of their victims to prepare Matza (unleavened bread) for the Passover
festival. Rashid bases his article on anti-Semitic writings translated into
Arabic over the years.

Rashid compares Jewish religious leaders in the middle ages
who purportedly ordered the murder of non-Jews to those living today who he
claims incite for the murder of Palestinians.
