Spat at in front of the Synagogue

Nuremberg – on leaving the Nuremberg synagogue following the Kabbalat Shabbat (reception of the Sabbath) prayer service, three worshipers, one of them visibly recognizable as being Jewish owing to the Kippah he was wearing, stood engaged in a conversation a few meters from the entrance of the synagogue, near a residential building. The three talked on undisturbed for about ten minutes. Suddenly, someone spat at them from inside the residential building, shouting something that was not immediately intangible. Two of the victims suffered injuries to their heads and upper body parts. The identity of the assailant/s remains unknown.
